1. FINDING A PRODUCT
ExtremeFairings is committed to making your online shopping experience as straightforward as possible.
Q. How can I find a product quickly?
A. If your looking for a particular design such as 'White GSXR 600 2007' or 'Black CBR1000RR' simply type it into our search engine. If you'd rather see all the product simply select the category on the left menu.
Q. What details can I find on the product's specification sheet?
A. On the product description page there is Price, Extra Options such as Pearl/Metallic or Custom notes, details on which model the fairing kit fits, what year model it fits, how many pieces are included, what type of material is used, what type of mold we use, fitment details, holes details, paint details, clear coat details, seat cowl inclusion or not, windscreen inclusion, heat-shield inclusion, customisation details and shipping detais. You will also find the top sellers on the left side.
Q. I can’t find the product I want to buy on your website. What should I do?
A. If you can't find the product your looking by using the search engine, you can refine and edit your search. For example if your looking for a 'matte black punisher fairing kit' you should type into the search engine 'black cbr600rr 2004'. This will show all the black and the punisher will be amongst them.
Q. I can't decide between several similar products. What should I do?
A. If some fairing kits look the same, you can order the one that is closest to your design.
Q. What should I do if I require more information about a product?
A. All of our products include comprehensive information details. If you can't find the information you are looking for simply send us an email or a call. Contact details can be found here.
2. THE ORDER PROCESS
Q. How do I place an order?
A. Once you've found the product your looking for, you can follow these simple 5 steps to finalise your order. You can place an order 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
Step 1: Log in or Create an Account
When you are placing your first order you will be asked to create an account by filling in a registration form. Simply enter your billing and shipping details. You will be required to enter your email address since we send you important information updates on your account. You will also be required to enter a password. Once you've completed this the click Submit button.
Step 2: Delivery
Select the delivery method from the options available. Click continue to checkout.
Step 3: Payment
We offer several different payment methods, select which one you want to use. You can redeem a coupon you found, simply type the coupon into the Redemption code box, click continue to checkout to update your discount. You can also write special instructions such as delivery or custom details on your fairings.
Step 4: Confirmation
The confirmation page will show a quick summary of your order. If all the details are correct you can select Confirm Order and you will be taken to our SECURE SSL payment page.
Step 5. Order Placed
Once your order is placed you will receive an order number. Click Account History at the top of the page to view your order.
Q. How secure is shopping at ExtremeFairings website? Is my data protected?
A. Your data is 100% safe. Your data will be handled confidentially and encrypted with SSL (Secure-Socket-Layer) secure server software. The encrypted information of your order, name, address, credit card or bank details cannot be read by any third party. Credit or Debit card payments can also be verified by the 3D secure procedure.
Q. Do i receive an invoice with my order?
A. Yes you can view or print your order invoice by clicking on the Order History link at the top of the site. You will also receive a payment invoice from our payment processor. You can find this in your email.
Q. Do i get a discount if i order 2 or more fairing kits?
A. Yes contact us before placing your order.
Q. How can I pay with a credit or debit card?
A. Payment made by Credit or Debit cards is carried out by a fully secure SSL (Secure-Socket Layer) encrypted page hosted on our partner merchant website Worldpay. All information from the moment you go to the payment page is encrypted. ExtremeFairings does not retain any card details.
We accept Visa Debit/Credit, Mastercard and Discover.
Q. Can i pay using a different method?
A. Other payment methods are available such as Bank transfer or Paypal. Please email us if you want to use Paypal or other payment methods.
Q. What should I do if my bank card is refused?
A. The most common problem is your bank has block foreign purchases. You should contact your bank or card issuer as soon as possible.
Q. What happens when my payment is received?
A. Once we have received your payment, your order will be processed by our team and we will start making your fairing kit.
Q. Where do you deliver?
A. We can deliver to any country.
Q. How long does delivery take?
A. Delivery usually takes 2-3 weeks (5-7 working days production, 2-3 days quality control check and packaing and 5 days Express Shipping.
Q. How much will I have to pay for delivery?
A. Shipping is Free to USA, Canada, Europe and Australia.
Q. How can i track my order?
A. You can track your order on the www.usps.com website. Online Tracking will show 1-2 days after tracking number is sent
Q. I have not yet received my tracking number, Although the stated delivery has passed.
A. Sometimes orders can take longer depending on the order production queue, order season (higher volume February-September) and other factors. Please contact us if you need an update on your order.
Q. Do you offer a quicker delivery service?
A. If you need an order rushed we can rush it. Rushing it will put your order ahead of the rest of the production queue. A rush fee will apply. Please contact us before you order.
5. Refunds and Cancellations
Q. How do i cancel my order?
A. You can cancel your order if you want, simply contact us by email or phone.
Q. Are there any fees when i cancel my order?
A. Yes. If you decide to cancel your order then a $150-$200 fee may apply. We charge the fee because everything we make is custom made and everyone's order is different and unique. We will keep the fairings in stock if you decide to re-order it. Simply contact us by email or phone.
Q. How long will the refund take?
A. Refunds can take 2-4 days to return to your payment card used.
Q. Can i return my order?
A. Yes. You will be responsible for the return shipping cost. A return fee may apply.
6. Quality, Custom Painting and Fitment
Q. How reliable are ExtremeFairings bodywork?
A. With so many companies selling motorcycle fairings it's hard to choose the best one. ExtremeFairings motorcycle bodywork is the best in the industry for all the right reasons. Our factory and warehouse is state of the art. Our machines and equipment is the same as what OEM use. We can tailor-make your fairing kit to what you want and exactly how you want it to look. Our fairings can last up to 50% longer than fairings from other companies because of UV protection. Hundreds of satisfied customers can't be wrong.
Q. How long will a fairing kit take to complete?
A. Usually 5-7 working days depending on the season and production queue.
Q. Can i add custom stickers?
A. Yes. Email us the pictures or send us a link to the image. Tell us where you want to add it or replace.
Q. Do they fit like OEM?
A. Yes we only sell perfect fitment fairings. They will fit like OEM, 99.9% perfect.
Q. I'm having trouble fitting my fairing kit, are there any tips?
A. Trimming the plastic by mm and widening the holes is recommended. If anything isn't fitting like its supposed to use a razor blade to trim just a tiny bit of plastic. If your bike had a previous fall make sure the fairing bracket is aligned correctly. Everything should fit smoothly and there should be no gaps. If there are gaps you need to install them correctly or do some more trimming. Most motorcycle shops will know the best practices with aftermarket fairings.
Q. How close are the paint colors to OEM?
A. Very close. We use our own paint formulas to get as close as possible colors to OEM.
Q. What type of Pearl/Metallic do you use?
A. Our pearl metallic is in the gloss coat, not the paint. We apply small flakes into the gloss to give the fairings that sparkly look.
Q. Can matte paint have Pearl/Metallic?
A. No, since matte uses only a very small coat of gloss, its won't be noticeable.
Q. Do the fairings include ExtremeFairings logo?
A. If you want to add our logo to the bodywork such as on the bellypan we can give you a discount off your fairing kit. You can make our sticker any color to match the fairing kit.
Q. Do the fairing include logos such as Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha, etc?
A. No. We are not able to include trademark logos on the bodywork from Honda, Suzuki, Kawasaki, Yamaha, Ducati or BMW. You can purchase these from an authorised dealer.
Q. Can i send you my tank for painting?
A. No. We can not paint your tank or we can not accept any fairings by you to paint. This is due to high shipping costs.
Q. Do you send me the paint color code used to paint my fairing kit?
A. No. We use our own paint formulas and not paint color codes.
Q. Do you use UV Paint Technology?
A. Yes. We are the only motorcycle bodywork supplier to use UV paint technology. Other sellers do not use UV paint, they will probably lie if you ask them, beware of cheaper fairings, these don't use UV paint. Read this article about what UV Curing is and its benefits
Q. Do you make race fairings?
A. Yes but we don't make tack style fairing kits. We can cover up the headlight and tail holes only. A small fee will apply. Contact us before you order.

7. Warranty and Guarantee
Q. What type of warranty is included when i order from ExtremeFairings?
A. Yes. When you order from ExtremeFairings you have a full warranty that includes broken parts, scratched parts and wrong parts. If you have any issues please contact us as soon as possible so we can resolve it. For parts broken in shipping, send us a photo to our email.
